Marcellus Wiley is a professional athlete, media personality, and philanthropist from Compton, CA. From an early age, Marcellus used his physical and mental aptitude to rise up from one of America’s most difficult cities. After earning accolades in both the classroom and athletics, Marcellus continued his education and football career at Columbia University, earning a Bachelor’s in Sociology and a second-round draft pick in the NFL. Since then, Marcellus has used his fame and recognition to work toward a better society. In 2009, he was honored with the Advocate Award by the Brady Center to Prevent Gun Violence for his dedicated involvement to public awareness. Remaining grounded from his youth, Marcellus works with World Changers to share stories that will inspire others to take positive action in their own communities.
